After breakfast, we went to the viewing mall and we showed Clare where the aeroplanes are. She wasn't very excited seeing those large creatures, not even when one started to move slowly on the runway. Perhaps she is still too young for this. =) Here are 2 pictures of Clare at the viewing mall.

We have finally decided to bring Clare for her first official swim today! =) Although we know that Clare loves to play with water, we had not really brought her swimming yet. The first time she wore a swimming costume was when we brought her to Sentosa last December. We went to the pool in Siloso Beach Resort. Clare only managed to stand in the water and sit in her float for a short while as the water was freezing cold. That was the only time she wore her first swimming costume and she has long outgrown it. =p
We bought her a second one some weeks back but due to the HFMD disease, we have been putting off her swimming trip. Since she has recovered from her cold, we decided that today would be the day we bring her to Chinese Swimming Club for a swim.
Just as we were about to leave the pool, it started raining. However, we were determined to try our luck. So armed with Clare's swimming bag and float, we set off. Thank God that it was sunshine at the eastern side of Singapore! =) As we were waiting for the lift, we overheard the security guard telling a family that the new children's pool is oped today! =) Damon and I were so excited and we could not wait to see Clare in the pool.
There was loud music and balloons decoration and I was getting very excited. just as we were changing Clare, a lady came to us and passed us a goodie bag. She said that she saw us walk past but could not stop us in time to pass us one. We were very touched by her kind gesture.
Daddy decided not to go down to the pool with us as he was worried that it might rain suddenly and he could carry Clare to shelter faster if he was out of the pool. When I first carried Clare in, she was a little apprehensive and frightened. However, after a few minutes, she got used to the cold water and the crowd and we could sense her excitement. She looked so cute in her new swimming costume.
As it was getting dark and thunder could be heard from a distance, we decided to bring Clare out of the pool but we promised to bring her back at least once fortnightly. =)
