We almost could not make it as it was drizzling. However, the rain stopped and we decided to try our luck. When we got to the Fullerton Bridge, there were still not many people and it was very nice and breezy. We were just in time to see the helicopter with the big Singapore flag. Clare was so excited to see the helicopter.
However, her excitement did not last long. When the Black Knights flew past , she was terrified by the thunderous sound they made. She became very frightened and clung on tightly to me for the whole time and even refused to let Damon carry her.
Halfway through waiting for the fireworks, it started to drizzle. We brought Clare into the Esplanade and it was only then that she could start to smile again. =p
