An Evening at a Montessori School

Damon's Auntie owns a Modern Montesorri International (MMI) in Pasir Ris. I have been to the school when it was first opened but Clare has not. Damon's family decided to hold his grandmother's birthday celebration at the school this year. I was excited as that would mean that Clare could explore there. =)

Clare was very happy and excited when she got there. Her first stop was a small shelf full of trays of educational toys. She explored the tray one by one and had great fun. =)

Little Shelf of Educational Toys

Playing with the Toys in One of the Trays

Then, we brought her to one of the classrooms where the children do self learning. She enjoys the activities there and she could carry out the various activities on her own. =)

Sorting According to Size.

Transferring Macaroni to Help in her Focusing and Improve her Attention Span

Then it is time for the dinner and she just had free play on her own exploring other things there.

From this experience, I realised that Clare enjoys herself at the school. Hope to place her in a playgroup when she is 2 years old. =)
