We always go over to Damon's house for dinner on Sundays. However, we did not go over this Sunday as we were supposed to go out for dinner with my family. At the last minute, dinner was canceled and we had the day to ourselves.
We went to church in the morning. Clare was very good in church today. She participated in the dancing and singing during the Children's Liturgy. It feels good to see her getting involved in mass. =)
In the late afternoon, we brought Clare for swimming. I love it when Clare goes swimming as it would mean bonding time for Daddy and her and some personal time for me, just relaxing by the pool. After the swimming session, I was very happy as it was very visible that some great bonding had occurred between father and daughter during that swimming session.
After that we went for dinner at Soup Spoon at Raffle City. It was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable dinner. Clare was very happy during dinner and enjoyed her soup very much too even though she already had her share of her own dinner earlier. It was also the first time we ventured into a restaurant without a high chair for Clare. Good job, Clare! =)
